SciScanner
- Search Science
SciScanner is a meta-search engine for health-related scientific research.
Search in synchrony
SciScanner searches several scientific evidence platforms (like the Cochrane library, Medline, Wikipedia and YouTube) in synchrony. It centralises the results, helping you find the research you need to fulfil your health-related information needs.
The SciScanner platform leverages Boolean operators with appropriate search syntax to help you filter through >25 million scientific articles. The platform can help you find scientific articles covering:
- Treatment
- Diagnosis
- Aetiology
- Prognosis
- Clinical prediction
SciScanner can be used to find primary research (including randomised controlled trials), systematic reviews, meta-analyses and consensus articles.
Search synthesis
SciScanner uses Robotreviewer (http://www.robotreviewer.net), to summarise randomised controlled trials for quick review.
